All engagement sessions & weddings that take place more than two hours outside of zip code 30213 fall under the destination wedding category. Learn more below!
Any location that requires more than a two hour travel time is subject to flight, rental car & hotel accommodations.
There are 2 distinctions:
(a) Drive-able: Two hours drive time requires a one night hotel stay the night of the wedding. Three hours drive time requires a two-night hotel stay local to the wedding venue (the night before and the night of)
(b) Requires flying: (More than two hours of drive time) Airfare for photographer(s) ground transportation & a two-night hotel stay local to the wedding venue. (the night before and the night of)
As a rule for travel, we always arrive at least 1 day before a wedding. This provides us the time needed to scout locations & get familiar with the area.
the booking process
HOW TO JOIN THE FAMILY
In order to book your wedding, a 20%, non-refundable retainer fee along with a signed contract are required. Once you are ready to book, you will be sent an electronic proposal. In this proposal, you can enter your info, select your package, sign your contract and pay your retainer all in one easy place!
Once you have completed the proposal, signed the contract & paid the retainer, you are officially part of the S+G Wedding Family! You will receive an email with very important links and information!

All albums are custom built for every couple. Yes, most of my wedding collections include a wedding album however, you do have the option to upgrade or purchase additional albums if you choose. Upgrades receive a $500 credit towards the purchase of an album.

Who will shoot my wedding day?
A photographer will be selected for you 4 weeks before your wedding day. You will be paired with a photographers(s) based on availability and compatibility with you and your wedding day needs.

How can I have the look of Ashley Nicole's images
if Ashley Nicole doesn't shoot my wedding?
Although your wedding will be shot by a different photographer, Ashley Nicole selects and edits the final images you will receive. Remember, Ashley's intricate selection & training process for all members of the team ensures all of her associate photographers are skilled and ready to provide the amazing wedding photos you want.

Do you provide raw images?
Raw image files are not provided. I'd never want to provide my clients with unfinished work.

When will we receive the images after the wedding?
You will receive a sneak peek of 5-10 images within 5 days of your wedding. The full image gallery will be delivered to your inbox no more than 8 weeks after your wedding day.

Do we have to order prints through you?
I highly recommend ordering prints through my professional printer however it is not required. The difference in quality is huge when it comes to using a professional lab so although not required, I encourage my clients to let me help with prints.

Do you provide video as well?
I do not. I specialize in photography to make sure I can provide you with the best images as possible. I would however love to refer you to several videographers that would tell your story beautifully.

Is there a way to see images that aren't included in our gallery?
I use my professional judgment to meticulously cull, edit and deliver only those images deemed professional in quality and within my artistic standards. Images determined to be substandard (eyes closed and other bloopers) are edited out and discarded.

Do you carry insurance?
I sure do! As a thirteen year insurance industry vet, I understated the importance of carrying insurance to protect my business and you. I have higher than acceptable limits & coverages and am happy to provide a certificate of insurance upon request.

What if something happens to your equipment on wedding day or after?
We have several systems in place to ensure we are able to document your day & provide your images without interruption. We always bring spare equipment to each wedding, shoot on cameras that have 2 slots for SD cards (in case a cards fails), carry spare batteries for all equipment and have a 3 part image backup system to make sure no images are lost.

Have you shot a wedding at my venue before?
We've captured love stories at tons of venues, so there is a pretty good chance that we have. In the event we haven't, we do a good bit of research on your venue prior to your wedding to ensure we are ready to go!
